Shawn Horwitz, founding principal of GoGetIt, co-founded The Alliant Company (TAC) and later acquired sole ownership. Under his leadership, TAC managed over $16 billion in assets and developed 14,000 affordable housing units. After TAC's sale in 2021, Shawn founded Alliant Communities. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Rhodes University and is a member of multiple industry organizations.
A serial entrepreneur, Barend founded Blue Sky Utility in 2009, a trailblazer in the multitenant solar industry that served major REITs like Brixmor and Phillips Edison. His achievements include a notable $100 million merger with Nofar Energy in 2021, and he remains active on Blue Sky's board. Additionally, Barend co-founded BPi in 2008, securing a $30 million renewable energy project portfolio with Treasury Wines.
Thinus is the Director of Business Development at GoGetIt, a leading SaaS utility asset management platform. He has spearheaded the development of a non-recourse financing model for renewable energy assets such as solar, storage, and EV charging, focusing on driving NOI growth through innovative asset management. Thinus works closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth integration and high-performance solutions, continually expanding GoGetIt’s platform to help landlords manage their utility assets, meet sustainability goals, and improve economic outcomes.
